Description

CheckoutAlarm is a cloud-based monitoring solution designed for entrepreneurs and independent developers who manage applications that utilize Stripe for payment processing. It routinely accesses a designated webpage to evaluate its response status, loading speed, and the presence of specified titles or phrases. In the context of Stripe, it keeps track of any undelivered webhook events and inactive endpoints, providing notifications when sales activity experiences a halt. Prior to starting the monitoring process, ownership of the site must be confirmed via methods such as a DNS record, a verification file, or a meta tag. Notifications via email are dispatched following two consecutive failures in page checks, along with a recovery notification once the page check passes again; similar alerts are also issued for Stripe-related issues. The Free plan allows for daily checks of a single site, while the Pro plan offers hourly checks for up to three sites at a cost of $19 per month. By implementing scheduled monitoring, CheckoutAlarm plays a crucial role in identifying both website availability issues and Stripe payment delivery challenges. Overall, this service enhances the reliability of online transactions and helps maintain seamless operations for its users.
