Editing and signing
Change the existing words in a PDF instead of covering them, or add text, images, drawings, highlights, stamps, and QR codes or barcodes. Sign with a drawn signature and fill in forms with text, ticks and crosses.
Pages
Merge several PDFs, split by page ranges, rotate, drag pages into a new order, crop, and add or remove pages.
Compress, convert and OCR
Compress to a quality level or to a target size such as under 1 MB. Convert between PDF, Word, JPG and PNG. OCR makes scanned PDFs searchable in 19 languages.
Redaction
Redact permanently removes sensitive text, with Find & redact and optional withholding grounds such as FOIA. White Out covers content with a box when you only need a cosmetic fix.
AI tools
Summarize a PDF in six styles, translate it into 37 languages, generate a quiz, or chat with it and get answers with page references.
How files are handled
Signing, annotation, form filling, redaction and page tools run in the browser. Compression, conversion, OCR and password protection run on BoostPDF's servers; uploads are deleted after processing and result links expire within an hour. AI tools send the document text to an AI provider.
