Bazille, created by u-he, is a versatile modular synthesizer that merges digital oscillators with analog-inspired filters and extensive modulation options. It is equipped with four digital oscillators that can perform frequency modulation, phase distortion, and fractal resonance synthesis, making it ideal for intricate sound design. Additionally, the synthesizer boasts four self-oscillating multimode filters, each providing up to six parallel outputs to enhance its filtering capabilities. Bazille also features four ADSR envelopes with customizable rise and fall settings, two LFOs offering various waveforms and outputs, along with a 6-step morphing sequencer that can store eight snapshots for dynamic modulation possibilities. Moreover, it encompasses mapping generators, multiplex modules for both signal mixing and modulation, and built-in effects like stereo delay, distortion, phaser, and spring reverb. The fully modular interface allows users to connect outputs to inputs freely, opening up a world of intricate patching possibilities, which encourages creativity and exploration in sound design. Unlike conventional DAWs that follow a purely digital model, MIXBUS is rooted in Harrison's impressive 40-year legacy, which includes the production of iconic albums and blockbuster soundtracks such as Thriller, Graceland, and Spider-Man. As the first comprehensive DAW to offer genuine analog-style mixing capabilities, Mixbus brings a distinctive flavor to music production. Harrison has a remarkable background in audio technology; during the mid-1980s, the company pioneered fully-automated, digitally-controlled analog mixer technology, which was quickly embraced by leading film-mixing studios globally. With the advent of the digital age, we faced a challenge: convert the analog "processor" into a digital format without altering the beloved control surface.
