Mixbus Description

There are many DAWs available, but only one that works like a Harrison. It has an analog paradigm that embodies form function and sound. MIXBUS is a DAW that uses a computer paradigm. This is in contrast to other DAWs. It was born from Harrison's 40-year legacy of platinum records and blockbuster films like Thriller, Graceland and Spider-Man. Mixbus is the first fully-featured DAW that allows for analog-style mixing. Harrison has a unique history. We developed fully-automated, digitally controlled analog mixer technology in the mid-80s that was adopted by top film-mixing facilities all over the globe. We were asked to convert an analog "processor" into digital processors, while keeping the control surface intact. The control surface should sound and function exactly like the analog mixers they used for previous projects. We developed a digital audio engine that worked and sounded exactly like an analog mixing console.
