Description

ArsClip is a free utility designed to manage clipboard entries effectively. This clipboard manager keeps track of all copied items and allows users to paste them through a convenient popup window. The activation of this window can occur via various methods, such as a hotkey, a right-click hold, or a designated trigger window. Operating from the system tray, ArsClip continuously watches for new clipboard entries. When users wish to reuse a previously copied item, they can simply open the ArsClip popup and select their desired clip. While there are several ways to invoke the popup, the default method is through a global hotkey, set to CTRL+Shift+Z, which can be customized according to user preference. Every time a new item is copied to the Windows clipboard, ArsClip captures it, retaining up to 15 of the most recent clips in its memory. Once this limit is reached, the oldest entry is transferred to a separate cache designated for Removed Clips, thereby ensuring that users always have access to their latest clipboard data. This feature greatly enhances productivity by streamlining the way users manage multiple clipboard entries.

Description

Clipdiary keeps track of your clipboard activities by automatically storing its entries in a history log. As you copy and paste various types of data, the standard Windows clipboard updates, often leading to the loss of previous information when the computer is shut down or when new data is copied. While this may not usually pose a problem, have you ever found yourself needing to retrieve text you copied just half an hour or an hour earlier? Perhaps your system was malfunctioning and the application you were using failed to save your work, or you may have copied intriguing information from a website but got sidetracked and forgot to paste it where intended. Additionally, there may be instances where you might want to revisit what you were working on a month or even a year ago. With so many situations where accessing your clipboard history could be beneficial, Clipdiary serves as a practical solution for managing your copied content.
