OkMap Desktop is a Windows-based GPS mapping application that facilitates the creation, modification, analysis, and management of maps, routes, GPX tracks, and waypoints. This software is particularly well-suited for outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling, as well as for search and rescue missions and professional mapping needs.
Users can utilize various topographic maps, online maps, and DEM elevation data to effectively plan their routes, examine GPS tracks, and determine elevation profiles, travel durations, and comprehensive statistics. Among its advanced capabilities are GPX file editing, georeferencing of raster maps, management of waypoints, automatic routing, geocoding features, and compatibility with a wide array of GPS devices.
OkMap also enables the creation of offline maps, Garmin Custom Maps (KMZ), and supports the import and export of GPX files while allowing the visualization of geographic data sourced from Tiled and WMS map services.
