Good replacement for on computer mapping Date: Apr 24 2024
Summary: Definitely one of my preferred paid-for apps on my computer. I have had other bloated apps that didn't work nearly as well. Glad this came along.
Positive: Not having to have an internet connection to use it, and it works with three of my GPSes. Course plotting is always the course I would choose, never a "WTF" route like some others.
Negative: Is missing a few streets, but updates has fixed some of my issues.

Simple GIS Client Satisfied All Our Requirements Date: Mar 29 2024
Summary: For a very modest investment, Simple GIS enabled us to provide our representatives with a street map and a spreadsheet of customized, pertinent contact and location information for customers within specified distances (defined by us) from each of our representative’s location. We simply “fed” Simple GIS a spreadsheet with customer and representative street, city, zip, and preference attributes then configured our organization-specific parameters guided by Simple GIS Client menus.
Positive: Simple GIS is a flexible and feature rich application that satisfies all our organization’s requirements. Technical support is both extremely knowledgeable and available! We initially emailed Simple GIS our requirements. They quickly produced an on-line demonstration of how Simple GIS addressed each of our requirements. As a result, I had no reservations about purchasing this application and have not been disappointed since implementation.
Negative: Simple GIS Client is not web based. I believe its flexibility results in a little bit of a learning curve. However, Simple GIS Product support has expertise and is always available to assist.

GIS for Dummies Date: Mar 28 2024
Summary: A+ experience. Easy to learn, responsive help desk, output is very professional looking and extremely inexpensive for what you get.
Positive: Simple GIS saved my bacon on several projects here I didn't have access to a professional CAD/GIS person, Learned the basics in less than an hour. The GIS simple people were very responsive whenever i had a question when I reached a roadblock using the software. The final maps I produced passed muster with some very particular regulatory agencies.
Negative: Some aspects in terms of labeling were slightly clunky but not a deal breaker.

A superb GIS mapping and management tool Date: Aug 15 2020
Summary: For those people whose job involves mapping large areas of land or ecosystems, either via drones of some other means, Simple GIS can really make it a cakewalk for you with very little training and investment involved.
Positive: - Value for Money! Simple GIS is a savior for a lot of people with a small budget. The tool is robust and feature-packed. Gives no reason to complain at its price point.
Negative: - It could be said that the UI isn't very modern, but most people in the GIS industry care less about that.
