Description

Say goodbye to the cluttered browser window filled with disorganized tabs. Alloy is designed around Tasks, each with its own dedicated Tablist, ensuring that only the Tabs pertinent to your active Task are visible. Tailored for power users who often juggle numerous open tabs, Alloy provides a streamlined way to manage and view these tabs alongside their corresponding tasks. This tool is not intended to replace a traditional task list or scheduler; rather, it enhances the browsing experience by integrating this organizational structure. By focusing solely on the Tabs relevant to your current Task, Alloy allows for a more efficient workflow. While we initially thought about creating a browser extension, we ultimately opted for developing a standalone application to give us greater flexibility in design. A new app allows us to customize the user interface to better align with its purpose, enhancing usability and functionality. Our goal is to elevate the entire modern browsing experience, making it more intuitive and manageable.

Description

ōryōki is a compact web browser designed with a minimalist interface, and it is currently undergoing experimental development. Built on the Electron framework, it utilizes Chromium as its core engine, with the source code accessible on GitHub. By default, ōryōki operates in a fullscreen window mode, although users have the option to modify this setting in the preferences. Additionally, the browser will notify users when updates are available, which can be downloaded in the background seamlessly. Once an update is complete, users simply need to replace the existing .app file. The browser also provides real-time loading status and valuable feedback for various actions, while the recording feature ensures that notifications are muted during use. Overall, ōryōki aims to enhance user experience with its streamlined design and practical functionalities.
