Summary: I am a contractor and do a lot of white label work, which means I have multiple emails, calendars and various apps to work with multiple companies. Some are Google mail/calendar and Office 365. Shift allows me to quickly see all my emails, see how many are unread, a unified calendar and individual app access without have multiple browsers open and having to check in consistently throughout the day.

Positive: Easy view of multiple emails, calendars and access to apps/programs connected to that email/login. Seeing a unified calendar. A count of how many unread emails in each email. Allows me to keep everything in its place, not having multiple browser open. Overall, ease of implementation and use.

Negative: Really I don't have any cons. Very easy to use and implement. I have no cons for this product.

Summary: Shift has been a game changer for how I organize my day. It helps me stay on top of client work, communication, tasks, and schedules without feeling overwhelmed. It keeps everything clear and easy to access, which has really helped my productivity.

Positive: I love how Shift brings together all of my most-used tools so I can stay focused and work without getting distracted. It makes switching between email, task managers, my calendar, and notes easy and seamless. I also appreciate that I can stay signed in and not have to keep logging in and out.

Negative: I don’t love using Shift as a regular browser for web searches or general browsing. I also wish it supported a few more of the apps I use so I could keep everything in one place.

Summary: Fantastic, I use everyday and have for years now - huge time saver as everything can be seen and switched between all within one application.

Positive: Always signed into email, cal, g-suite for all my accounts simultaneously. Super super efficiency and easy across work, personal, alumni, etc.

Negative: Maybe once a week it freezes up and logs you out of one or more gmail, so have to log back in and resets... so if you had a bunch of tabs open good luck. Seems to happen more often when bouncing between wifis and travelling.

Summary: I just really like the look and feel of it & how stress-free it makes my life.

Positive: I appreciate the ability to combine all my email accounts into one location, as well as most of the software I use, which streamlines both my workday and my personal time online. Shift has been a game changer in that way, and I highly recommend it to anyone needing that organizing shift in their life.

Negative: Honestly, I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Summary: I love this interface and it's become an integral piece in optimizing my daily workflows. If you manage multiple online identities/businesses, each with their own set of Google Docs and Sheets, this one reduces time between switching gears and keeps you focused on your work vs setting up for your work.

Positive: Managing several business themes and online identities can be tiring when switching between Google accounts and Google drive workflows, Shift makes this a breeze.

Negative: As goes with most third party plug-ins in general, sometimes things can get a little glitchy and not load when you need them as the plug-in, but can be bypassed by using a tab in each space instead.

Summary: I’ve used Shift for over 6 years and it’s my most-used app. I’ve set up custom groups for work, social, entertainment, and shopping, keeping everything organized and easy to access.

What sets it apart is having alerts from Linear, Notion, Figma, and Google all in one place. It drastically reduces window clutter and helps me stay focused.

Positive: The reason I use Shift is that instead of having to continually switch windows to access a number of different apps and tabs in my browser, I access 90% of what I use daily in one app.

It allows me to be more efficient and all my applications and their alerts are in one place.

Negative: New applications can switch core features quickly, and sometimes aspects don't entirely work from within the Shift application. Nothing that keeps the app from functioning, just more annoying minor things. However, in the few instances this has happened, there has been a new update to Shift that fixes the issue.

Summary: I use Shift daily as I have to use 10-12 apps daily between my work and personal uses. I can be logged in to two accounts on the same app at the same time without having to log in and out. It saves micro amounts of time but it soon adds up. I don't have to have multiple apps open at a time, this is one piece of software to rule them all.

Positive: I can have all the apps I need open in one space instead of each individual app open on my laptop and eating too much RAM and slowing down the computer. Not only that, but you can set up different workspaces/accounts in it and if you have two accounts for one app (personal/work) you can be logged in to both accounts on the different workspace and not have log in and out to switch between them. It's a godsend.

Negative: Not ever really sure what new apps are being added or when. No public roadmap so not sure what new features are in the pipeline etc. It's a bit opaque in that way unlike most other independent software.

Summary: I find Shift easy to use and stable. It certainly streamlines my day to day work. and would be hard to find an alternative.

Positive: Saves me loads of time switching back and forth from say Gmail, Linkedin, HubSpot, WhatsApp etc. It certainly streamlines my workflow.

I use Shift almost every day as it really is my productivity hub.

I've not yet needed customer support and I've been using Shift for 2 years now.

Negative: Sometimes extensions need to be manually reloaded (usually HubSpot).

Summary: I love this tool and have purchased it personally so that I can be more efficient with my time and my priorities. I've used it while at multiple businesses and for my volunteering endeavors and it is a timesaver and keeps me organized.

Positive: All of my important applications (personal and professional) live in one place. I can manage my messaging, calendar, and email in one place along with my task list to make getting something done via reminders/emails/events very easily. Everything is in the same place within the applications so I don't have to flip through multiple browser windows and everything stays logged in so I don't have to constantly type in passwords.

Negative: My only downside is that I can't combine views such a combined calendar or email view; I have to view them separately.

Summary: I absolutely love Shift, and I use it every single day to streamline my workflow and stay organized between multiple accounts

Positive: It's an amazing platform that simplifies switching seamlessly between multiple Gmail accounts and tools.

Negative: The only issue I've had is, it's had trouble implementing the Chrome extension Dashlane

Summary: Overall, I highly recommend Shift to anyone that uses a computer for multiple reasons. Having Shift help organize your desktop makes life easier.

Positive: Shift is an amazing product that brings organization and efficiency into one application. Managing multiple businesses and emails can be difficult, but shift makes it easy with an all-in-one application.

Negative: The only thing I don't love is the internet browser UX/UI.

Summary: The best email client I've ever used. It's safe, simple, it was easy to set up, groups emails from multiple accounts so I can work on one group at a time.

Positive: Shift seems to be the best stand-alone email client. It can integrate multiple accounts, with incoming messages automatically grouped into as many as four categories. Implementation was simple. I just entered the account access information, and it imported everything. I rely on it at work every day, to handle email quickly and efficiently and without losing track of any. It just works. I've never had to call customer support. I've tried other email clients, but Shift is the most reliable and the only one that works for me.

Negative: Shift had trouble, at times, printing to my PDF editor (PDF-Exchange Editor Plus) but they seem to have fixed it in the latest update. In fact, it's now been several months since I've had this problem and I use Shift throughout the day, every day.

Summary: I've been using Shift for 4 years pretty much every day. Most of my work happens in shift and it's made me more productive.

Positive: Shift is great for managing multiple inboxes and workspaces. With all your apps/software in one spot, you can stay focused and productive.

Negative: Password management could be better and the workspace management can be slightly cumbersome but nothing major.

Summary: Shift is solving my problem of tab hoarding and app disorganization. It helps me save time while I browse and streamlines my digital life.

Positive: After using an app-integrated browser for the past 2 years, I could never go back. The most frustrating thing is switching between accounts on the same app or having to constantly log in and out. With Shift, I have a curated list of apps I use daily for different workspaces (aka, different areas of my life) and I never need to log out. I have a list of apps I use for work, for my social/personal life, and for side projects. Not only do I have all of my apps only one click away, the workspaces in Shift also allows me to focus on specific tasks at a time, dividing my work and personal life beautifully. It's a bonus that Shift has also cured my tab hoarding tendencies.

Negative: Bugs could sometimes occur in Shift, but the customer success and tech team are always quick to resolve them.

Summary: LOVE SHIFT! I recommend it to literally everyone I meet who is an entrepreneur or involved with many different activities.

Positive: Love that I don't need to have tons of tabs for things that I use every single time, I can keep the tabs for research purposes AND I can switch between my emails so if I'm doing work/personal/school research then it doesn't really matter because I can easily do them all at once.

Negative: I don't love how much they change the interface I often can feel a little lost when they do that as a disabled person.
