Description
Active@ Partition Manager is a sophisticated utility designed for the creation, formatting, and management of disk partitions. This tool enables users to control their storage devices and the logical drives or partitions they house effectively. You can effortlessly create, delete, format, and assign names to partitions without the need to power down your computer, with most changes being applied instantly. It is compatible with a variety of widely-used file systems, including FAT, NTFS, exFAT, ReFS, HFS+, Ext2/Ext3/Ext4, BtrFS, UFS, XFS, and JFS. Additionally, Active@ Partition Manager functions as a distinct, lightweight component of the Active@ UNDELETE suite, which is known for its advanced data recovery capabilities. It also offers the unique feature of enabling users to start a non-bootable PC, granting them exclusive access to local disks and the system. The tool can be run from a CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, provided the appropriate BIOS configurations are in place. After successfully booting the system, the boot disk media can be safely removed. Moreover, the recovery utilities included in the software are capable of restoring deleted files or retrieving data from erased or damaged partitions, making it a comprehensive solution for partition management and data recovery.
Description
File Recovery Hero specializes in retrieving deleted and lost media files such as photos, videos, and audio from exFAT memory cards and NTFS drives, as well as from uncompressed disk images like IMG, DD, RAW, and BIN. When working with NTFS, it accesses the Master File Table to restore deleted files with their original names and folder locations instead of identifying them as anonymous fragments. Importantly, the source medium is only read, ensuring that it remains untouched, unaltered, and not subjected to any repairs or formatting. Recovered files are always transferred to a different physical drive to maintain data integrity. It's crucial to understand that a file name appearing in the results does not guarantee the actual recovery of that file; therefore, validation of recovered media is conducted, including checks for structure and expected size, along with demuxing and decoding media files. Results that cannot be confirmed are labeled as UNVERIFIED, ensuring the user is aware of their status. Users have the option to select from 34 different file formats individually, and it’s important to note that the service is restricted to exFAT and NTFS file systems, does not support physically damaged drives, cannot bypass encryption, and does not guarantee successful recovery outcomes. The service is offered at a one-time fee of 100 euros, providing coverage for ten years across two devices without the need for a subscription, making it a straightforward and economical choice for file recovery needs.
