GQuon's Journal: Don't flip off photographers

Quick note: Don't flip off any odd person filming you with a camera. It might be tempting, but you could also end up on national TV in Norway.

Norwegian TV news did a story on the US election victory. They showed video from the Republicans' gettogether. Then they visited some hotel where a hypothetical Democrat victory celebration would have taken place. They interviewed some disappointed democrats. And there's a guy lounging in a chair. Flipping off the camera. With both hands. And a smile on his face. Good job.

Over here, people rarely take notice if you flip them the bird. Even on national TV. When Princess Märtha Louise was photographed flipping the bird to some papanazis, people barely made a fuss about it, and if they did make a fuss it blew over very quickly. When this is the case, why do you think anyone in Norway would give a shit about a US Democratic Party supporter flipping the bird?

I don't remeber that. But flipping off a paparazzi and flipping of the daily news is kind of different.
Just a reminder that a guy with a camera doesn't have to be just a goof-off filming because he's bored.

The only kind of people un this country who would even care that someone flipped the bird on the news, in the tabloids, whatever, are the people who have serious issues to begin with...
