Ooh, bad weather. Mixed emotions.

I like when more people vote, yet the more people who vote, the higher the percentage of Democrats who vote. Low voter turnout is a guaranteed Republican win.

Bad weather keeps voters away, that means lower voter turnout, and also a better Republican win.

So, mixed emotions.

You know, a lot of people are questioning that whole line of reasoning. It looks like it doesn't matter what voter turnout is. High voter turnout, low voter turnout... it looks like we were getting roughly the same sample we always were. Republicans win either way.

I think that means that Democrats can't realistically claim a silent majority for themselves anymore. Republicans, however, can claim a slight but clear majority.

Unless you buy into the whole rigged voting machines deal.
