On "Do Not Fly" Lists...

  • I'm not sure which is worse -- the sheer number of false positives who could wind up on the list (not just from clerical error) or the fact that the only way to find out who the false negatives are is by the results. I have to agree with his question "what about the little guy?" He managed to get on the plane in a few calls because he has the contacts to get to the man at the top. Who's going to help the guy who has no contacts and can't get home or on a business trip or on vacation?

As of next Tuesday, C will be flushed in favor of COBOL. Please update your programs.
