Journal greyworld's Journal: Huge new artwork at the London Stock Exchange

So Im an artist, part of an art group called Greyworld. We have just finished an eight storey high sculpture which is the new symbol of the London Stock Exchange - The Queen opened it on Tuesday. I thought it might be of interest, as its 729 spheres can independantly rise and fall in the 100 ft space, creating words, forming shapes, and dissolving in to patterns. They get their feeds from the net, specifically from rss feeds, so it models headlines in the space too.. Like the NYSE bell, it is being seen every morning around the world... Technically its very complicated, each sphere is gets its data and power from the cables, all mediated by the onboard atmel processor. And a FreeBSD box takes command of the shapes and motion... More information is at http://www.greyworld.org/artwork/source/ or do a news search on google..
