Journal Glonoinha's Journal: VMware 4.5 is an awesome upgrade from 4.0 2

Well for those of you following the saga of Linux in VMware on a Windows host, it continues. I upgraded to VMware 4.5 from 4.0 and I have to say it was well worth the upgrade. Two massive improvements : it lets you use up to 4G of memory for your virtual machines (up from the 1G in v4.0), and the drivers and performance for Linux (RH 9) are a lot better.

Before I was doing it, but I wasn't digging it. Now - I'm digging it. RedHat screams now - it is easily as comfortable to use (fast too) as the native Windows host OS.

If you are doing the VM thing, go get the upgrade.
