"I'm not an idiot, I'm just absent minded."

At least, I hope. I'm making a lot of stupid mistakes with this web app for my job. I catch them fairly quickly, but these are mistakes that should not be made in the first place.

What makes it worse is that the files I am working with for just one small part of the app are over 7k lines combined (written by somebody else, I get to make design updates, bug fixes, and complete reworkings of parts), which makes it a lot harder to track down my mistakes.
