Thanks for all the pageviews. Really. Over the years I have come to love and hate you. You have inspired me with tales of human genius, bolstered my ego with your stupid mistakes, puzzled me with your bizzare modus operandi and (most dearly) fed my insatiable addiction for information.

Most remarkable in my eyes is the large and diverse crowd of minds you attract. Many sites on the web offer news stories and features, but with you the content is truly in the comments.

So, for now, thanks slashdot. Maybe someday I will make enough money to suscribe, but until then I sign off as your devoted bandwidth consumer (leech).
