Pii's Journal: Incorporation: Scam of the Century?

How many of you are self-employed, and or have incorporated?

So many scams... So many write-offs.

Why didn't I do this years ago?

Seriously, I'm looking for feedback. I'm about to incorporate, and I see a lot of upside potential. What might I be overlooking, both advantages and disadvantages?

I'm torn on that matter.

The problem is that I'm a libertarian. I can't stomache the Left's socialistic tendencies in personal economic issues, and I can't stand the Right's facistic tendancies in personal freedom issues.

My current "hot button" issue is the bullshit going on with the FCC, and their insistance on ignoring the First Amendment on our public airwaves. The seven dirty words is one thing, but the pressure they're putting on the broadcast

It's a big push behind various MLM schemes. Just be careful if you do it. I mentioned it to my FIL (now a retired IRS agent) and he was telling me that what you can and cannot do are a bit more in depth and detail than what most people know. It's very easy to get pinched by them, so make sure you do your homework going in.
