OK. Why is it that women's magazines have picutres of barely-dressed women on the cover, yet men's magazines have... barely-dressed women on the cover? What does this say about our culture? I mean, who is Cosmo selling to? Men or women?

I highly doubt that every woman that buys Cosmo is a lesbian, but this raises another interesting question: why are lesbians more accepted by our culture than gays?

Because woman are allowed more freedoms in the US than men. Because men's sexuality is more understood, and women are more mysterious.

It's the culture. Men are supposed to be simple, and women deep and mysterious.
