Warning: SPOILERS! If you haven't watched Enterprise GO NO FURTHER.

Synopsis from Startrek.com:
The mission to find the Xindi takes a treacherous turn when Enterprise is crippled by inexplicable, destructive spatial anomalies that distort the laws of physics. With systems down, Osaarian pirates board the ship and and raid it of valuable supplies. The crew captures one of the marauders, and Archer's sense of morality is tested when he interrogates the prisoner.

A) Of course they did. They're geeks too.
B) Pfft. Just a coincidence.

Archer really shows his darker side in this episode. He uses some rather coersive and brutal tactics with the Osaarian prisoner, including locking him in the air lock, and pointing a phaser to his head.

Obviously, Archer is desparate to know about the Xindi.

Why do you suppose the writers have taken this twist? Why is Archer so desparate?

And more importantly, what do you think of T'Pol's new hot new red uniform? ;-)

  • Eh, I watch Enterprise once in a while. I really hate it. Even the last two seasons of Voyager are infinitely better than Enterprise. Just doesn't feel like Startrek.
  • Man, I liked that show, but I could never figure out when it was on. I take its it's on on Tuesdays. That's how I remembered it, but having apparently missed any commercials for this weeks show I missed it. Drat.

    I'll have to look for it to be repeated and watch for next week.
    • Wednesdays - 8pm Eastern/Pacific, 7pm Central (I dunno what time it's on in Mountain) - UPN. Channel 11 if you're in Seattle.

      TiVo helps with remembering, but I still tune in for it on Wednesdays.
      • I'm an east coastie, I forget which number is UPN on my cable, it's like 10 or 11 or 12 or something. There's two WBs in the mix with it. Thanks! I have a digital cable box that will remind me of such things once I tell it, but it won't save the things... oh how I long for TiVo and the warming glow of the TV's glowing warmth.
  • T'Pol has a new uniform? Might have to tune in again...
  • television? You mean that thing over there under the penguin?? Marked 'property of the zoo'?? (the penguin, not the tellie) It has a remote somewhere, i'm told... i think the cat has it...Ceridwen!!! Have you seen the tv remote?? Nah, she says she hasn't seen it. But she says if you move the potted plant, there used to be an on switch somewhere on the thing. Wait. 'Used to be?'

    Ceridwen!!! Have you seen the 'on' switch for the tellie??

    She says she's using it in her robot army, we'll have to wait till she'

    • Star Trek (all of them) is one of the few things on watch on the telly.

      Penguin???

      Your cat's name is Ceridwen? Mmm...strange. I've been working with Ceridwen recently.

      Robot army?

      The remote is in the fridge?

      And I thought you were going to bed early, Sol? This post was at 10:41 p.m. EST. Tsk, tsk. ;)

      They don't stamp animals 'property of the zoo'. How would you stamp a great big lion?

        Well, I guess that depends on where you want to send it. You'll probably need to cover it in Penny Blocks to send it to Kenya. For local deliveries, just open the cage.

  • Whatever the writers are doing with Enterprise, it is certainly less mundane than Seasons 1 and 2. I watched this episode Tuesday; I got the torrent last night from the usual places.

    I like T'Pol's new uniform. When she took it off in the first ep of the season, it seemed like the writers were pandering. Although the same could be said about the infamous detox gell scene from the first season.

  • Why do you suppose the writers have taken this twist? Why is Archer so desparate?

    Did you miss an episode? The Xindi are making a weapon to blow up Earth.

    She has a new uniform? I must have my Hot Lesbo Action Knob turned up way too high. I didn't see any clothes at all! Not that I would've noticed, since she's kissing Hoshi so much....ummm...yeah definitely turned too high, but I don't want to turn it down! Help! ;-)
