singularity's Journal: Pixel is here!

Pixel arrived via FedEx at 12:05pm today.

Currently he is going through an acclimation procedure that requires the lights to be off, so I do not have any pictures yet. I should have some this evening, and tomorrow morning at the latest.

He has already eaten a meal.

His head is about an inch long, and each of his arms is about an inch, as well. He seems to be a somewhat dark brown color, but that is with the lights off, so I actually have no idea.

He sticks his eyes out of the water when my head is over his bag, and he is shooting around in his bag.

I also added two Sally Lightfoot crabs to the tank.

For now Pixel will be in a plastic terrarium until he gets a little bigger (and can handle dealing with Lefty and Righty and the crabs, which might go after him right now)

Congrats, I can't wait to hear more stories about pixel's activities and thank you for sharing your adventure thus far. Now, if only I could talk you into building your own personal submarine and sharing that...
