ptomblin's Journal: Well, that felt better

My wife and I spent a weekend at a bed and breakfast. It was great to spend some time away from computers and TiVo and kids. We laughed together like we hardly ever get a chance to do these days. I think we've got to do more of that.

You weren't a journal user until recently. I went out of town, and when I came back, you had a big pile of depressing entries waiting for me to pick through.

FWIW, I think you need to have more fun with her, and what you did was on the right track. I hope you're telling her everything you're telling us.

Oh, she reads the journal. I know, because she went and told her kids where it was. Just what I need, to be writing about my agonizing over whether my daughter is having sex yet or not and to discover that my step daughters are reading it too.

But yeah, I mostly say stuff here *after* I've said it to her directly.
