  • I have absolutely no idea. :-)
    • heh. That's good.

BTW at slickhosting, what is your setup? Do you lease virtual machines off boxes in a colo, or do you have your own?
      • Our own boxes, with our own custom management software and everything. Sadly, we're too lazy to do any marketing, so we don't have enough customers to pay for a decent connection. If high bandwidth isn't a big priority for you, I'd be happy to answer any other questions you might have. It's good enough for my site. ;-)
        • would you colo it?

Or how about giving me a box to myself. What'd that cost? ::giggles::

I mean, what, are they rackmount PIIIs? A Sun with multiple domains?
          • Damn, I wish we could offer colo. Unfortunately, in addition to our connection being a lowly cable modem, we can only get three IP addresses from our ISP, all of which we're using. • Cox. Right?

So we're almost in the same boat.

I _wish_ they offered the business service in my area but stupidly they only offer residential service. I suppose it's easier to get T1s around here than other cities, but what about power users at home!

If I had that, I wouldn't have been asking you for colo... ^_^
My upload is crap, and they firewall port 80. Also, most upstream mailservers have figured out my netblock is residential so I get silently dropped when I push mail.

What am I going to do...

                Question:

Force needed to accelerate 2.2lbs of cookies = 1 Fig-newton to 1 meter per second

Working...
