Journal shepd's Journal: Bryan Dennison is an ebay scammer 2

Bryan Dennison (aka Fern Dennison) is an ebay scammer.

Early today (August 18, 2003) I won two ebay auctions with no reserve for Playstation 2s.

Auction 1
Auction 2

As you can see on his user page, I have left him two feedbacks on the items. Here's a copy:

Complaint : Item won (no reserve) but user won't sell because "price was too low".

I received this email from him shortly after asking if I could pick them up and pay in person (I am wary about 0 feedback sellers, for good reason it seems).

sorry since the price was too low they are not for sale

Seems he's making a lot of auctions (there were at least 20 systems for sale, bids of mine on them were cancelled just prior to my winning them) just to take the highest bid, and screwing everyone else over.

Well, Bryan Dennison, you've messed with the wrong 'net citizen. I'll be finding out where you live so the world knows not to buy from you.

My guesses: Essex, Ontario, Canada. Or perhaps: Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

If I have my way, you won't be doing business on ebay any more.

Here's the other items he sold. I've emailed all those users to let them know of my situation. I'll let you know what their replies are.

Auction 2
Auction 3
Auction 4
Auction 5

If you decide to delay payment but already paid by personal cheque, you may wish to contact your bank to discuss whether it would be possible to stop payment on the cheque. • Thanks for the alert. You'll probably want to contact ebay [pages.ebay.ca] if you haven't already, or see if their fraud protection page [pages.ebay.ca] has any info you'll be able to use.

PS: Dude, please let me know if I do something to piss you off.
    ;)

In all seriousness, he didn't get any actual cash from you, right?

    • >PS: Dude, please let me know if I do something to piss you off.

No problem. Just don't screw me over monetarialy, and life is grand. :-)

I just get angry at punks like this on eBay!

      >In all seriousness, he didn't get any actual cash from you, right?

No, he didn't. He's just abusing eBay and wasting my time, that's all. But I won't let that stop me finding his home address and phone number to post here!
