Journal este's Journal: Another boring day.....

Today was just a blah day......thursdays can be like that. Woke up pretty late, managed to get my last eBay package in the mail (my Peavey Blazer 158 practice amp--first one I ever had, but now I use it maybe twice a year, might as well get $60 out of it).
Stopped by Value Village, but they didn't have anything enthralling today. I've decided I probably have enough tshirts for the moment, and that's really what the Village is good fr, so I'll probably pare my visits down to once a week or so....
My roommate Barry rented the "Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers" game for the PS2, and has been devoting a good part of hiss free time to it. I'm impressed by it's design and execution, better than I had expected....it's so funny to watch him play, though--he gets -really- pissed when something doesn't work out.......good thing he never tried to 100% Vice City.
I found an excellent website for my 510 project, which I think I'll refer to as the BioDime, not only descriptive but a veiled referance to that cinematic classic, BioDome with the immortal Pauly Shore. The page features, among many biodiesel projects, a Datsun 240z with an LD28 diesel conversion from a Nissan MAxima, apparently it just dropped right in. Exactly what I've been looking for, hope it'll work for the Dime, too.
Speaking of--still need to find one! I had the best deal ever fall through, a 72 2dr with all the bodywork done, primered, with the Subaru LSD, bitchin wheels, 240sx seats, everything. Needed a windshield (done that one before!), some paint, and in my case, the engine swapped out. And only $600! I hope the fscker from Fresno flakes out, I want that goddamn car! The Dime, Quarterly (http://www.dimequarterly.tierranet.com) has classifieds it updates thrice weekly, I'm waiting impatiently for tomorrow's update, as they neglected to do one yesterday. And praying that I'll find my car at long last.
