Cloud 9's Journal: Our moderators at work!

Check out the moderation mojo on this comment. I don't know what troubles me more, the lengths some people will go to to abuse the moderation system, or the idea that maybe they actually believed that comment was insightful and informative?

And thanks to the changes Taco & Co. made to the Karma system (specifically about rendering posts marked Funny irrelevant), I snagged 1 whole karma point. Not that I'm complaining.

Like you say, I don't know if it was intentional abuse or not. I'm inclined to think that some people are just *completely* unaware of what they are doing, and so just moderate things randomly.

At least they were moderating you positively and not negatively. Being on the losing end of some vindictive moderator is never fun.
