I used to have another account. At the karma cap.

I started posting on slashdot and soon found that posting what you really think gets you modded down. Going with the groupthink gives you the karma reward that is dangled constantly in front of you.

Feeling imprisoned in my old excellent karma uid I made a new one and just use this one now. I say what I think unlike before where I had to think twice lest I offend sweaty nerds who will wield their sword of moderation -1 on me. (disclaimer: i am a sweaty nerd too).
