I've been following these companies that are like the old clipping services in reverse, paying people to disrupt and bend online communities for corporations. I've managed to meet a few of the people who work for them, and they'll juggle hundreds of accounts.
It's big business now. Companies offering to help "defend you reputation" at the low end right on up to outfits like the Bivings Group and HBGary. Some are "Internet Security" concerns with divisions for ast
