Protect your email account from Hackers

When my fellow Australian Jenn Ibubbles George-Slade email was hacked few weeks ago I received an email claiming she is in urgent need of cash to clear hospital bills that were escalating at average of Au$ 2,000 a day.That left me gobsmacked and only after getting her through on phone and later via her Facebook account that I learned her email account was hacked.
