When I read the "Magic" my first thought was they were going to somehow merge it with the HTC Magic smartphone.
Wrong "Magic".
Then again, the Magic has a video camera, micro-sd card slot, usb connector, flash ... oh, and it also makes phone calls.

I just think its humorous how the MacFanBoi's think its awesome, having never used it, and how the anti-MacFanBoi's think its the worst thing evar, having never used it. Culture determining their viewpoint? Maybe? Just a touch?

No - I make plenty of decisions without having tried the product. For example, the argument "Eat shit - 10 trillion house flies can't be wrong!" won't get me to engage in coprophagia.
The iPad doesn't have the features I want, or the form factor (I want something more like a legal pad turned sideways - not a dvd case).
I'll stick with my laptop for the time being. It does more, and does it better.
