Ok, I have a question, and I have a bad feeling I know the answer. You don't have me confused with Koria, do you? I am no bard and I am no elf goddess or whatever she describes herself as now.

If I have you thinking I am her, I am sorry but you are mistaken. And I apologize if there's something I said or did that gave you the wrong impression.

      • Well, there was that possibility. And the way you turned up fit the pattern that she used at least once in the past. But other things didn't fit. And I think that I know your other account, anyway. :-)

The "bard" thing was just the right word for the phrase. A one-syllable subject that does something that rhymes with "bring". I thought of "Chimps fling it" first, but that would not exactly be good stuff, now, would it? :-)

Humor me. Who do you think I am? There's a cup of coffee in it for you [when/if I ever make it to that part of the planet] if you peg it on the first try.

Good point. Yuck - very good point.

          • Rather than out you publicly (and embarrass myself if I'm wrong), I'll just say that three years before posting this journal entry, you were inspired by a song to post about certain types of people that you did not care for. If I'm right, you should be able to verify that relatively easily, but only someone willing to put a lot of time into a search would be likely to figure it out.

            • Negative. No songs posted in 2005. I think I have only 1 or 2 songs posted total.

I suspect you would be VERY surprised if you knew my identity. I can send an email to you if you get bothered enough that you need to know.

              • Well, it was not a song that was posted. It was more of a rant. :-) Of course, the one or two songs posted total might be a clue, too. Or it might be misdirection.

I'd like to know, but give me a chance to figure it out. I'll ask if I get too frustrated.

Call me curious. And I won't tell... gmail is naqamel.

You want a song? I'll give you a song:

She drove west from Salt Lake City to the California coastline
She hit the San Diego Freeway doing sixty miles an hour
She had a husband on her bumper
              She had five restless children
She was singing sweet as a mockingbird in that Ford Econoline

She's the salt of the earth
Straight from the bosom of the Mormon c

              • Songs are good. I like this one:

                Goodbye gray sky
I see my heart comin' round the bend
The sun's comin' up on the Poet In My Window
Her saving grace is my old friend

I'll never lose if my heart goes flyin'
If I sail it true and set it free
                it'll come flyin' home
                be waitin' in my window

                • I don't think that I'm going to figure out who you are, though, so I'll take you up on that email offer.

                  Done. Check yer mail.

  • Hopefully not - every Friday a truck comes to my house and if it starts delivering rather than picking up I will be seriously pissed off.
