Journal felipekk's Journal: Battle.net password security

Battle.net, Blizzard's gaming community, used by hundreds of thousands of players to play games like Warcraft 3, Diablo and Starcraft online is not as safe as you think (password wise). Not only the minimum password requirement is ridiculous: has to be 3 characters long, but also the passwords are case insensitive. They allow you to set a password like "aaa" and you don't have to bother checking if CAPS LOCK is on before you login: "AAA" or any variation on the casing will work. So much for password policies huh? (This was tested on Lordaeron Gateway on Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne)
