Journal SPAM: 120 US war veteran suicides a week 2

THE US military is experiencing a "suicide epidemic" with veterans killing themselves at the rate of 120 a week, according to an investigation by US television network CBS. At least 6256 US veterans committed suicide in 2005 - an average of 17 a day - the network reported, with veterans overall more than twice as likely to take their own lives as the rest of the general population.

    Got home from Iraq last summer. 4 friends from my unit killed themselves, 3 here 1 still in Iraq. The guilt of killing kids and goat herders got to them. The ones who joke about it on LiveLeak videos are the ones who eventually go nuts and kill themselves.

    "Mission Accomplished" my ass. Like Vietnam, Iraq is an unjust disgrace to the American people. The administration should (but won't) be accountable.
