Thompson is now "in." Ron Paul is doing well but the media keeps repeating their stance that he is an underdog, fringe, etc. I would call this a lie but perhaps they have learned from the republicans: that if they keep saying something is so it "becomes" the truth.

EVERY straw-poll I know of. So? He a "Bircher" in Constitutonalist clothing. Couldn't, COULDN'T be worse than Halitosisburton.

He doesn't win every poll (I wish he did though)

I believe that he has won 10 and Thompson has won 11, with nobody else very close at all. So if the straw poll are an indication the REAL race is between Thompson and Paul.

Ohhh, yes it can! Don't fall into that trap. Just when you think it can't get worse, that's exactly what happens. And we are headed that way. When the underdog becomes the big dog, all sorts of bizarre things can happen. Nixon and Reagan, and the man with the mustache were born in relative poverty. In fact many of the world's worse were. It's a certain psychosis at work there. And I believe it's fairly common. It would behoove us all to heed the sign, "Bewar
