A recent slashdot article on banning NSA eavesdropping is quite interesting. Someone brought up the point that "Only in a Government do you need to outlaw something that is already illegal." Oh how we should weep for the United States of America, and what she has become.

Warrantless Wiretapping.

  • The question is, is wiretapping unreasonable? Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. Where the distinction lies is the sticky wicket.

    On a side note, on of the attorneys I work with who's done some international work told me that in the UK there are no limits on Government wiretapping. They can tap whomever, whenever. But... and this is a biggie... wiretapping is completely inadmissable as evidence. So no matter how much information the Government may have from their surveillance, they must have some ot
