With a determined leader at the controls (VP Dave Story), the Photoshop team embraces the incremental development model, discarding the traditional waterfall method. The result, so they say, is that neither time nor features were sacrificed, while quality -- in the form of lower bug counts -- increased. For dinosaurs like me, who remember program sizes measured in kilobytes, it's always nice to read about anything that suggests tighter coding.
