Never stayed in one anyway, simply because they're so damned expensive! Hotels in Scandinavia are pricey at the best of times, but Scandic hotels are just insane.

Do they have a choice?

I don't know about Cuba, but I presume they're on the same list as Libya - and technically, federal law prohibits me from letting my Libyan colleague have access to Windows, Office, Java... - as American companies, even outside the US, Hilton, Sun and Microsoft aren't allowed to trade with nationals of those countries.
