Sarin's Journal: retro style internet

Remember the old internet? Before the hype, at the time you had compuserve and the internet (remember those strange looking email addresses of compuserve?).
I'm trying to catch some of the old spirit on my new site. It's going to be fully interactive with loads of nice scripts that let you make your own ascii graphics, anagrams (in different languages) and ofcourse a lot more.
Got any more ideas?
