NFLFan's Journal: NFL 2006: Week 6

I am too lazy and depressed, because I do not thinking I am doing so hot, to figure out my "record" right now. I will figure it out for next week.

Sunday, Oct. 15
Buffalo at Detroit 1:00 p.m.
I like the Bills. Losman seems to more matruing each week.

Carolina at Baltimore 1:00 p.m.
I like the Ravens. The Panthers are playing below expectations and the Ravens are finally playing up to their expectations. Don't worry though, the Ravens will disappoint this year.

Cincinnati at Tampa Bay 1:00 p.m.
I like the Bengals. The Bengals need to play with more heart but the Bucs need more than that.

Houston at Dallas 1:00 p.m.
I like the Cowboys. I don't care what is going on on a certain team's sideline for this game.

N.Y. Giants at Atlanta 1:00 p.m.
I like the Falcons. Going by the numbers that I use, I should be picking the Giants. I just cannot trust the Giants, yet.

Philadelphia at New Orleans 1:00 p.m.
I like the Eagles. The Eagles are due for a letdown but so are the Saints.

Seattle at St. Louis 1:00 p.m.
I like the Rams! Perhaps I do not know what I am doing here. I want to say this is going to be the best game of the week but then it would probably turn into some 100-0 blowout.

Tennessee at Washington 1:00 p.m.
I like the Redskins. I just cannot like the Titans. What is it like to learn on the job Vince Young? I have say that I am surprised that Young has not looked completely bad.

Kansas City at Pittsburgh 4:15 p.m.
I like the Steelers. Is this the week the champs turn it around?

Miami at N.Y. Jets 4:15 p.m.
I like the Jets. Somebody has got to win this one.

San Diego at San Francisco 4:15 p.m.
I like the Chargers. Really good defense and a decent, and probably improving offense, will be too much for those men seeking gold. Sorry, that was pretty lame.

Oakland at Denver 8:15 p.m.
I like the Broncos. Oakland, the worst team in football.

Monday, Oct. 16
Chicago at Arizona 8:30 p.m.
I like the Bears. Chicago, the best team in football.

Oakland might just have what it takes,

The determination, lack of pride, and utter laziness, to go 0 and 16. They just might pull it off. In the back of mind I can't help but think that this might be Art Shell's revenge on Al Davis for firing him after taking the Raiders to several trips to the playoffs.

I would be really surprised if the Raiders could go all season winless. Sooner or later they will catch a team not playing their best and the Raiders will catch a few breaks and somehow end up winning. I think there are enough problems in Oakland to think a winless season is possible though.

Art Shell's revenge huh? That certainly gave me a chuckle but I just do not believe it. It certainly appears that Shell is not the right coach for these Raiders.

I see the ravens getting beat. the browns of all teams had them on the ropes with a good pass rush. julius peppers is going to own them all day.
