Miami at Pittsburgh 8:30 p.m.
I like the Dolphins. Too much bad karma with the Steelers right now. Who has the Roethlisberger voodoo doll?

Atlanta at Carolina 1:00 p.m.
I like the Panthers. That defensive line of Carolina is unreal. I get the feeling that Atlanta is going to start the season sort of slow.

Baltimore at Tampa Bay 1:00 p.m.
I like the Ravens. It is week one so Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, and Steve McNair are still healthy.

Buffalo at New England 1:00 p.m.
I like the Patriots. Should be an easy division win for the Patriots.

Cincinnati at Kansas City 1:00 p.m.
I like the Bengals. It is going to take some time for the Chiefs to figure out how to play Herm-ball.

Denver at St. Louis 1:00 p.m.
I like the Broncos. The Rams seem to hurt me when I pick them and I seem to remember the Broncos being fast starters.

New Orleans at Cleveland 1:00 p.m.
I like the Browns. When you have no idea, go with the home team.

N.Y. Jets at Tennessee 1:00 p.m.
I like the Titans. When you have no idea, go with the home team.

Philadelphia at Houston 1:00 p.m.
I like the Eagles. Just do not know what to expect from the Texans.

Seattle at Detroit 1:00 p.m.
I like the Seahawks. Maybe the Lions will surprise everybody this year but not this week.

Chicago at Green Bay 4:15 p.m.
I like the Bears. Things could get ugly for Favre in a hurry.

Dallas at Jacksonville 4:15 p.m.
I like the Cowboys. I understand the 'Boys defense has looked really good in preseason.

San Francisco at Arizona 4:15 p.m.
I like the Cardinals. Lets see how much magic Kurt Warner has left in the old shoulder of his.

Indianapolis at N.Y. Giants 8:15 p.m.
I like the Colts. I figure the Colts have the better defense.

Monday, Sep. 11
Minnesota at Washington 7:00 p.m.
I like the Redskins. Both of these teams need to show everybody something but at least the Redskins did last year.

San Diego at Oakland 10:15 p.m.
I like the Chargers. Hey, the Chargers get a fifth pre-season game!
