Journal MacBrave's Journal: Story on /. about where you grew up. Wierd 2

This story: http://yro.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/02/22/0527210 about Kokomo, IN popped up on the /. main page a little while ago.

My Dad was born and raised in Kokomo, although my parents moved out of town when I was about a year old and settled in the rural metropolis of Wawpecong (what, no wikipedia link?), pop 75, about 10 miles north of Kokomo.

Dad worked at the Chrysler transmission plant in Kokomo for 34 years, my Mom at Kokomo's St. Joseph hospital for 35. My sister's family still lives in Kokomo.

I guess it is a little wierd to see a story on /. about a place where you are/were still close to.

I'm just rambling........
