BrenBren's Journal: Been busy!

I've been a busy girl. So busy, in fact, that I didn't realize until today that I got my first "friend"- Bethanie. (Thank you, Bethanie!)

Christmas was wonderful. There were children everywhere. They made out like bandits, from grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles. Everyone got along, for the first time in years. There always seems to be the little things that kick off an argument, but nothing like that this year!

The food was delicious, too. We had turkey, chourico stuffing, traditional stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, corn, green olives and black olives. There were all sorts of deserts, too. I didn't try everything, but I had enough of a few things that I will probably regret it for a while.

It was a beautiful weekend, although some snow would have been nice. Seeing green grass on Christmas Day in New England is almost depressing. I won't complain though, because last year we got enough snow to last me a while. As the saying goes, "Be careful what you ask for... You just might get it."

Thanks. I didn't mean it to sound like I've never had a friend before. :) I figured out what the friend/fan relationship was from looking around at the lists of people on RailGunner's list.

Could you imagine playing a game like "Six Degrees" for Slashdot users? It would be interesting.

Oh, I don't think any of us would make it to 6 Degrees -- *maybe* 4, max. :-)
