Roger Ebert goes insane reviewing Just Friends . Metanarrative about how he has to set the stove timer to stay on topic, nonsequiturs about Paris Hilton, her cellphone, sarcastic misquotations of Oscar Wilde, references to IMDB intercut with Truffaut, Rob Schneider, The Ugly Chick, and some onomanapeia. Brilliant.

    I understand that he pretty much said all he had to say about the movie, and that more is spoken about the movie in the absence of directly relevant comments.

        Okay, thats a valid take. My position is that I keep hearing News Media complaining about Blogs, and Blogs complaining about not being taken seriously. My conclusion is that I expect a level of professionalism in regular News Media (and I consider media maven RogEb to be part of professional news media). The flowing aspect has a bunch of BLOG in it... so its kind of tipping me the the dark side, if you catch me.

        Glad he was complimentary of weird science; I had that whole movie memorized in middle school. I remember at summer camp the kids who had HBO had seen it the night before and I had no problems rattling off all the lines with them, despite it being 6 months since my last viewing. DING
        
        I will give ROgeb credits on this'n; he really had fun with the review and I know I had fun reading it; but it was totally all over the map. I'm with you on the Guernica.
