So I almost scored in negitive numbers on the SATs
Tom darling would you care to dress up as a girl and take them for me please?
if this test was out of like a grade, I would have a solid D
you all should be smart enough to put two and two together.

    lets see, when i took them in 1990... i was the first one done. of course i just basically guessed on every single answer. i wasn't taking it seriously. i just kinda colored in the dots and then did nothing the rest of the time.

    in fact, i have *no* idea what my score was. it didn't matter. i got into a community college the next fall (which heh, a year later, nearly flunked out of... stupid band and the touring).

    so, your score can't possibly be as bad as what i'm sure mine was :)
    • ah but it's not good enough for my dad or for the rest of my family, all my cousins get like 1490 or high on the old ones, and I'm like 900 something on old ones. (I took the new ones but compared to the old ones thats what it would be.)
      I'm not really thrilled at all. I mean I've got a couple more months to take them again. well a year and a half I guess. but I need to get at least 1200 or else I'm not going to get into the schools I want. and it's not like I'm stupid. I've just never done well on standard
      • some advice to help you with the test:

        1. Plan on taking the SATs *2* more times (yes, I said 2 as in 1 more than 1). The first time, take JUST the verbal part. Sleep through the math sections or take a break. ONLY take the verbal parts. The second time, take ONLY the math parts. You can take the better score from each test and combine to make your total score.

        2. Study before hand. Before you take the verbal parts, learn your common latin and greek roots of words. This will help you immensely with wor
