ObitMan's Journal: Go Raiders!!!

Football season is finally underway.
Big win for the Silver & Black against former division rivals. Unfortunately I wasn't able to watch the game because It wasn't being broadcast here in Illinois. I don't have Sunday Ticket because it would be a waste of money since I work nights and need to sleep during the day. I suppose I could tape it, but I hate watching taped games unless they are old classics.
Anyway Here's hoping all your favorite teams did well Unless they are in the AFC west or the RAMS. I had a tough time with the Denver/StLouis game. I hate the Bronco's, thier fans and all who look like them. The same goes for the Rams and their front running wannabe selves.
Fortunately I was able to watch what may have been the last Sampras/Agassi match. It could have been a little better but everyone has a bad day. Pete was on top of his game today, Agassi was a little slow. It will be a while before Men's tennis gets anyone worth watching like those two.

when I saw the highlights for the bears game. I was at work, so I had to stream it. (NFL.com has free inet radio feed if you are interested in at least hearing the Raider's games.) Anyhow, I was stunned at the down field mobility of the bears...how about those long passes?

Dude, you know as a die hard fan I live and die with every play. No one, not ESPN, not NFL.com, not TSN, no one gives the bears any respect this year.

All I gotta say is this:

Watch out, no one gave the Patriots respect last year.

BTW, I fully exepct your boys to go deep again this year in the playoffs. No one wants to play the raiders when they are at home.
