  • she wrote that on a napkin and they printed it as is? i mean she kept on throwing in useless tidbits of information that only served to confuse the reader..

    For instance what does the quote from an ambulance driver who had nothing to do with flying the kids from NOLA to BRLA have to do with the story? and how did he transport the kids, from where to where? from wehre they were found to where they were taken care of? the author diesn't know how the kids gort away from wherevery they were being cared for in B
    • Well I'm sure that the reporting in general from the Hurricane zone is a bit chaotic.

      One of the TV people was showing her notebook covered with names and phone numbers and mentioned that she had gotten another notebook wet when going out on a search & rescue boat losing many of her notes in the process.

      Also the on-the-scene reporters seem to have mostly gone native. That can be a good thing in that stories that otherwise wouldn't get into the news are written (or taped) and reported. The downside is of
