Journal Kymermosst's Journal: The Due Influence of Elections 1

It's Special Election day in Oregon, and I was just reading my ballot (we've got mail-in voting, but I'm dropping mine off at a collection station).

Here's what's written on the top of the ballot:

WARNING
Any person who, by use of force or other means, unduly influences an elector to vote in any particular manner or to refrain from voting, is subject, upon conviction, to imprisonment, to a fine, or both.

So, I guess I can use force or other means to duly influence an elector? What is undue influence in this case? What is due influence?
