thephotoman's Journal: A possible new column

Okay, so I've had a wild hair up my butt, and as such, I've come up with a real use for this space.

What I'm going to do is turn this area into a joint column with The Daily Cougar, in which I recommend free software for ordinary people. Basically, it's got to be free as in speech and free as in beer as well as be something that the average person not only can use, but has a use for. Most of them are going to be drop-in replacements for proprietary solutions that actually work better, but a few will do unique things.

Furthermore, I'm also going to use this space for discussion about the software I discuss.
