carpltunl's Journal: Compiled Mandrake Linux 8.2 Finally

I was finally able to compile my Mandrake 8.2 kernel source last Sunday. Had to install gcc 3.0.4 to do it. gcc 2.95.14? would not work.

Mandrake 8.2 shipped two compilers one of which won't compile the kernel.
