Journal twitter's Journal: Former Cybersecurity Chief Calls for End of the Internet 2

Richard Clarke who once harshly criticized M$'s abominable security record and looked like a champion of privacy would now give M$ and the US Government complete control of the internet and your computer as a way to "solve" the problems created by M$. His five point plan to ruin the internet is:

  1. Biometric IDs. Free speech and anonymity don't exist because of bad policies and laws, so he figures they are not important.
  2. Government Regulation. He compares freedom to lead paint.
  3. ISPs should be given police powers and made to use them.
  4. A secure software standard, like M$ has. Stop laughing, he means it.
  5. Building "closed internets" that you and I can't use.

There you go, a man thinking entirely outside the box.

  • Clarke is .... How many GDMF times was the Gov/DoD cracked, phreaked, infected ... while this dude was a Cybersecurity chief with close to 100% failure in making anything secure. I guess he was real good at politics and getting others to jerk him off, but had no clue on how to secure anything. Security is only possible with freedom (not open data access) in all situations.
